We at Southeastern Community College send our sympathies at the loss of your mother, Pat Knopp. I just got Lisa's message today (4.7.2016) and apologize for the delay in communicating, as I've been out of the office a few days. Please know that I always enjoyed my interactions with Pat. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a straight forward way of working with people. I started working at SCC in 1987 and am still here. I manage the SCC Foundation and would be honored to create a memorial fund for Pat. Interested persons would make checks payable to the SCC Foundation. My email is brump@scciowa.edu. If you'll share yours with me, I can send you the worksheet that you and your family can use to establish a fund, or if you know that you'd like to have a memorial tree ($1,000) or bench ($2,500), checks can be made payable to the SCC Foundation, 1500 W. If you'd care to share more about your mom's life after SCC than what the obituary did, I'd sure like to know what she did when she left.
