Just thinking about the amazing heavenly reception that Clyde received! The love at Heaven's gate is unimaginable....His war buddies, coworkers, his family, son, and wife...Everyone in perfect fellowship and just radiating with pure and perfect love. You were blessed to have such a great dad and role model! Also, thank you, Jesus, for all the love and adventures that you and Karen continued to give him. I'm sure there are many others, but I know that you two are " like none other! " That's a Canadian expression for being the best! God bless and may Clyde's memories remain with us
always.

Jim and I were both very fond of Clyde and thankful to be allowed the opportunity to spend many hours over the past years with him. His great sense of humor made it very easy to be with him. He will be dearly missed. Clyde made his journey home with smooth grace and great humility, he was confident that every heart he touched now knows "Watch the traffic" and "Keep your tailgate up". Things we will not forget.

An American hero; a man full of grace and genuine charm. He recognized beauty but not out of vanity. Quietly, humbly, one of the true greatest of the Greatest Generation. But never needing or seeking recognition. I learned so much from him and am so lucky to have known him. I'm not blowing smoke. Thank you Grandpa, drive fast and keep your tailgate up.

I will not be able to attend the services, but all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Clyde was and will always be my buddy. Iam glad that I was able to spend time over Christmas and to be able to ring in the New Years with him. God bless all!
