Thomas B Grim

Thomas B Grim 60 of Ashland died Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Crystal Care Center in Ashland surrounded by his family. Tom was born September 21, 1961 in Lodi the son of Bill and Beth (Benson) Grim. Tom graduated in 1980 from Black River High School. He had been employed for Schneider National in Seville and American Electric Power in Tiffin where Tom was a diesel mechanic. He was a very active member of Homerville Grace Brethren Church in many ministries. He was a member of Ashland County Yesteryear Machinery Club. Tom enjoyed working on trucks and tractors. He loved working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife; Sharon (Wuthrich) Grim whom he married August 7, 1982; daughters: Kelly (Beau) Rector, Karen (Josh) Smith and Sarah (Chase) Case; grandson: Caleb Thomas Rector and a baby on the way in April, mother: Beth Grim; a sister: Amy (Jon) Miley and many nieces and nephews. His father: Bill preceded him in death.

Funeral Service will be Friday January 21, 2022 at 5:00 PM at the Homerville Grace Brethren Church with Pastor George Swain officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the church before the service. Private family burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Homer Township. Memorials may be given to Homerville Grace Brethren Church, 8992 Firestone Road, Homerville, Ohio 44235. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
