Sue Carol Schaad

Our beloved mother & wife Susan Carol “Sue” Schaad age 73 of West Salem Ohio passed away on Saturday January 28, 2023 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Robert William “Bill” Schaad and her children Susan “Sue” Seifert (Michael) of Mechanicsville VA, Melyssa “Miss” Murphy (Golden) of Lodi, OH and Stephen Schaad (Beth) of Polk OH. She is also survived by grandchildren; Cody, Caitlynn, Courtney, Alex, Ashton, Brianna, Gracion and Kaleb, 9 great grandchildren, her brothers Gerald, Butch, Jerry, Bobby, sister Barbara and her best friend Patty.

She is preceded in death by her mother Freeda Allen, father Paul Heilman, brothers William, Burt, Russell, sister Eileen and grandson Christopher. Sue enjoyed crafting, sewing and had many hobbies including antiquing and button collecting. Her favorite hobby was taking care of her many dogs including several St Bernards and her chickens. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Wayne County Humane Society.
