Sharon L McDaniel

Sharon L. McDaniel, 58 of Homerville entered into Heaven to join her loving Savior on August 9, 2021. Sharon was born to parents Wayne and Elva (Yoder) Firebaugh in Wooster, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Roy McDaniel on October 19, 1991. Her life’s work was being a child care provider and running her own business called Sharon’s Day Care. She was an active member in her church and a member of the Medina County Farm Bureau. Sharon had many things in life that brought her joy. She enjoyed everything about Christmas, collecting snowmen and teddy bears, maintaining the yard, her flower gardens, painting and crafting.

She leaves behind her husband, Roy McDaniel; Sister, Betty (Mark) Steiner; Brothers, George (Deb) Firebaugh and Harold (Elaine) Firebaugh; Brothers-in-law: Scott Kantenwein and Martin (Kathleen) McDaniel; parent in laws, Louis and Alice McDaniel; many nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephews; and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Vanessa Firebaugh; and sister, Carol Kantenwein.

Visitation for Sharon will be on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5-8pm at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, Ohio. Services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00am at the Homerville Grace Brethren Church with Pastor George Swain officiating. An hour of visitation will be prior to the service. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery following the services.
