Pamela L (Giet) Freitag

Pamela L. Freitag 71, of Orange City, Florida died Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at her home. She was born November 27, 1951 in Wadsworth, Ohio to parents Gustave and Donna (Potts) Giet.

 Pam married her loving husband John Freitag in 1971 in Ashland, Ohio. They moved their family to Orange City, Florida in June of 1985. In 2008 Pam and John started The Stone and Tile School, and Elite Stone and Tile Care, Inc., in DeBary, Florida. Pam was the office manager for Elite Stone and Tile Care Inc. She attended the One Church in Longwood, Florida, where her and John have been members for the past 20 years. Pam and John were also blessed to go on several mission trips to Central America with Charlie's Lunch Ministries where Pam worked in the medical ministry and worked in the pharmacy and John worked on building and construction.

Pam leaves behind her husband, John E. Freitag; mother, Donna Giet of Ashland; and sister Stephanie (Vaughn) Tennis of Ashland. Preceding Pam in death is a daughter, Aimee Jo Freitag, her father, and a brother-in-law, Daniel Freitag.

The Funeral Service for Pam will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, Ohio. Pastor Tyler Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park in Ashland, Ohio.
