Obituary
Michael D. Swanson, 60 of West Salem died Monday April, 10, 2023 at his home.
He was born May 21, 1962 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Roger and Anna (Johnson) Swanson.
Mike graduated in 1980 from Northwestern High School. He had been employed at Parobek Trucking Co., where he was a truck driver. Mike enjoyed fishing and garden tractor pulling.
He is survived by his sons; Ben (Amanda) Swanson of Medina and Brandon (Cassie) Swanson, nine grandchildren, a brother; Bob (Brenda) Swanson of Ashland and an aunt; Bonnie Geiser of Columbus.
Interment will be on May 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mohican Church of the Brethren Cemetery ..Mike is preceded in death by his parents. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family with arrangements. If you have a photo or a memory to share of Mike you may do so at mattesonfh.com.
