Mary Lee Orr, 87 of West Salem died on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster. Mary was born on July 10, 1936 to Jane Pflueger in Akron, Ohio. She married her loving husband Merle Orr on September 2, 1955. Mary was the Librarian for Northwestern Junior High for over 20 years. She enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens at her home.

Mary leaves behind her husband, Merle Orr; children: Janet Orr, Julie Orr, Jim Orr, Elaine Orr; grandchildren: Cameron (Lindsey) Orr and Tiffany (Josh) Shamp; great grandchildren: Aria and Leah.

There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Memorials can be sent to Town and County Rescue Squad PO Box 175 West Salem, Ohio 44287. Matteson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. If you have a photo or a memory to share you may do so at mattesonfh.com.
