Lula Clayton Obituary

Lula B Clayton, 78 of Lodi died Saturday December 5, 2020 at the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Akron.
She was born April 17, 1942 in Cowen, West Virginia the daughter of John and Anna (Lilly) Meadows. Lula retired in 2009 from Cloverleaf School System where she was a custodian. Lula enjoyed flower gardening, camping and four wheeling in West Virginia. She was a doting mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Lula is survived by her husband, Roger Clayton who she married Sept. 19, 1962, daughter, Gerri (David) Burton of Maineville, Ohio, granddaughter, Anna Campbell who was her caregiver, 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brothers, Dennis Martin and Jerry Meadows.
She was preceded in death by her  daughters, Terri Ashley and Lisa McIe and several sisters, brothers and parents.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday December 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Jake Furr and David Burton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday  5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi, Ohio. Memorials may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O.
