Leoma A Bowling, 94 of West Salem died Sunday morning at Brookdale Senior Living in Wooster. She was born January 6, 1926 in Beckley, West Virginia the daughter of William Thadeus and Maggie (Meadows) Maddy. She retired from Lodi Community Hospital where she worked in the housekeeping department. Leoma was a member of Black River Comedy Club, Northeast Ohio Chapter in Wooster of the Ohio Ex-Prisoners of War, the Truth Baptist Church and the Golden Oldies Luncheon where Leoma enjoyed decorating for the luncheons at the church. She is survived by her children; Gary Bowling of West Salem, Betty (Allan) Havel of Homerville, James (Holly Miller) Bowling of Sullivan, Ralph (Lorie) Bowling of Homerville, and Janet Travis of Homerville, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband; Clayton, parents and several brothers and sisters died previously. Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 10th, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Thompson officiating. Friends will be received Wednesday evening from 5-7p.m. at the funeral home. Burial Will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
