Laura L. (Snyder) Ramsier

Laura L. Ramsier of West Salem passed Away August 5, 2021 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a period of declining health.

Laura was born on October 7, 1936 in Wooster, Ohio to Lloyd and Virta Snyder. She attended Wooster High School. She married Herbert L. (Mike) Ramsier Jr. on April 28, 1957. She retired from the IGA in West Salem after many years of service. Upon her retirement, Laura enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching court and crime shows on tv, especially Judge Judy.

Laura is survived by her daughters: Victoria Gerold of Sandusky and Pamela of West Salem; brother: Frank Snyder of Norton; Sister in laws: Linda (Stanley) Ramsier of Ashland and Elizabeth (William) Hanes of Lodi; and her nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Mike; her son in Law: Ron; step brother: Lloyd Jr. and brothers in law: Dean Ramsier, Stanley Ramsier and William Hanes.

Per Laura’s wishes there will be no services. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Wooster Community Hospital and LifeCare Hospice for the kind and compassionate care given to Laura.
