Larry David Good

Larry David Good, 76 of Tallahassee, FL. passed away December 10, 2021 after a short period of declining health. He was born February 25, 1945 to Rufus and Esther (Boldman) Good and lived his younger years in West Salem graduating from Northwestern High School in 1963. He married Judy (Weiser) on November 11, 1962. They had two sons; Brian and Bruce (deceased).

Larry and his family moved frequently with his positions in the K-Mart Co. and ended up in Tallahassee where he spearheaded several business ventures; the latest becoming co-owner of “The Corner Pocket”. Larry enjoyed spending time on the computer and searching family genealogy.

Larry is survived by his son: Brian and daughter in law Linda Good, grandson: Max Adams; great granddaughter: Ava; sister: Linda (Ben) Bartlett; nieces: Shirley (Bob) Smith and Lesa (Eric) Forbes and nephew Larry Bower; as well as 4 great nieces and many cousins. He was preceded in death by wife Judy on January 19, 2021, son: Bruce; his parents; sister: Lillian (Homer) Begly and special nieces Sharon Begly and Pam Bower.

Funeral will be January 4, 2022 at 11a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service and burial to follow; at the Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 Elyria Rd., West Salem, with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church. Matteson Funeral Home of West Salem is assisting the family.
