Franklin D Ellsworth

Franklin D. Ellsworth, 89 of West Salem died Saturday November 5, 2022 at The Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland.

He was born August 18, 1933 in Mansfield the son of John and Martha (Paris) Ellsworth.

Frank was an iron worker. He built roofs on the Cleveland Skyscraper, K-Marts, Tri State and many more over his career.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, making musical instruments and building model planes.

Frank is survived by daughter; Cathy (William) Reese, son; Allen Ellsworth; step children; Sam (Glenda) McMaster, Susie (Skip) McMaster-Bickley and Mike (Becky) McMaster, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews; Rob and Dave Ellsworth and a companion; Phyllis Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Patricia in 2013 and many siblings.

Funeral Service will be Saturday November 12, 2022 at noon at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Cheryl Roshon officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial in Albion Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1021 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
