Elizabeth J (Arman) Mendenhall

Elizabeth J Mendenhall, 92 of Millersburg passed away July 12, 2022 at Sycamore Run Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Millersburg. There will be a private family service for Elizabeth. Interment will be at Congress Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to LifeCare Hospice 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster, OH 44691.

Elizabeth was born to parents Wesley and Carrie (Ingold) Arman, the second of six children in Chicago, IL on June 19, 1930. Her childhood was spent in southern Ohio and in Rittman. She graduated from Rittman High School. She had a variety of jobs over the years. She was a part of the missile program in Cleveland for 5 years and had secret clearance rating at NASA. She was also a sales correspondent in the engineering department a NASA. Elizabeth had a slogan registered with the US patent and trademark office. She was a contractor for the Department of Agriculture for 11 years. Elizabeth also enjoyed being a freelance writer for the Ashland Paper.

She always wanted to be a geologist and was as avid rock collector. She truly enjoyed art and antiques. She would buy and sell both.

Elizabeth leaves behind 2 children: a daughter, Lana (Ron) Vizzo of Wooster and a son, Tom (Sara) Mendenhall of Shreve; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a sister: Joan Anderson of Rittman, and many nieces and nephews all of whom were special to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Mendenhall; a son: Ronald Mendenhall; 2 brothers: John Arman and Chuck Arman; 2 sisters: Margaret Tracey and Elinor Eby Chord and an extended family member: Jim Leksan.
