Diana J Norton

Diana J. Norton died in her home on September 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lodi, Ohio on March 13, 1951 to mother, Mary V. Riegel (Hartman). She also had been raised by her foster parents: Jacob and Dorothy Boltz. Diana attended Wadsworth and Highland schools and then graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1969. She found great joy with sharing time with her family. She especially had an everlasting bond with her sisters that she loved dearly. Diana also enjoyed playing cards, Patsy Cline music and collection Angel figurines.

Diana leaves behind four children: Shawn (Kristy) Norton of West Salem, Scott (Caron) Norton of Lewes, Delaware, Michael Norton of West Salem and Melanie (Adam Buchanan) Norton of West Salem; grandchildren: Jacob Norton, Logan Norton, Myrissa Norton, Chase Norton and C.J. Norton; great granddaughter: Alaina Norton; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters: Mary (Charles) Fowler of Brunswick, Ohio, Deborah (Mike) Brocious of Hubbard, Ohio, Sue (Joseph) Lippo of Woodhaven, Michigan and Pamela (Terry) Jones of Akron, Ohio and a special friend Monica Kazimer of Cleveland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her mother; her foster parents; her favorite uncle and aunt Junior (Bud) Uphold and Jean Uphold.

A Celebration of Life for Diana will be held Saturday October 9, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Cinnamon Lake Lodge, 360 County Road 620, West Salem with Chaplin Charlotte Glasgo officiating.. Memorial donations may be made to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 314, West Salem, Ohio 44287.
