Darrell Venable

Darrell Venable, 80 of West Salem died Monday Nov. 15, 2021 at his daughter's home in Wooster.

Darrell was born July 29, 1941 in Cleveland the son of Herbert and Mintie (Harris) Venable.

He retired in 1990 from Pacific International Express in Richfield.

Darrel enjoyed the outdoors and making things out of steel.

He is survived by his wife; Mary (Sepple) Venable who he married August 3, 1996, children; Laura (Gordon) Griffin, Nora (Frank) Losalo, Darrell (Cindy) Venable Jr., Sheri Venable, Jimmy (Michelle) Burns, Mary Brown, Jesse (Sammy) Burns, Ben (Jeanne) Burns and Jeanette (Jay) Burns, 30 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. His parents,a sister; Jean Jefferson and a brother; Howard Venable preceded him in death.

Funeral Service will be Thursday November 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Beryl Baum officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00. Burial in Congress Cemetery.
