Wayne E Scott 77 of West Salem died Sat morning June 16, 2012 at Smithville-western Care Center in Wooster.

Funeral services will be Tuesday June 19, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Fiends will be received at the funeral home Monday evening 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Burial in Hazzard Cemetery, West Salem where military rites will be conducted by James Stevenson American Post 499 of West Salem.  Online obituary and condolences may be shared at the funeral home website at www.mattesonfh.com.

He was born Feb. 26, 1935 in Orrville the son of Wayne & Mildred (Kline) Scott.

He is a veteran who served in the US Air Force.  Wayne had been employed at Will-Burt Co. in Orrville for 35 years and retired in 1994 from American Augers in West Salem.  He then worked at the West Salem School as a custodian.
He was a member of the moose Lodge 1073, American Legion and VFW all of Orrville.  He is survived by four children Robert W. Scott of Wooster, Janet (Glen) DeHart of Smithville, Ronald l (Kim) Scott of Fredericksburg, Virginia and James M (Shelly) Scott of Wooster. Step children Harold (Chris) Brinker of Orrville, Darrell (Cathy) Brinker of West Salem and Nathan Brinker of Orrville.  Many grandchildren and great grandchildren
Two sisters- Nancy (Harold) Nussbaum of Orrville and Diane (Ron) Beigley of Florida.
Three brothers Roger (Diane) Scott of Orrville, Danny Scott of Orrville and Bill (Jeri) Scott of Dalton.

His wife Rose Brinker, a daughter, a sister, an infant granddaughter, step daughter and his parents died previously.
