Virgil E. Price

Virgil E Price, 86 of Ashland died Thursday June 25, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 12, 1933 in Baldknob, West Virginia the son of  Virgil and Edith (Workman) Price.

He served in the US Army.

Virgil retired from Ford Motor Company where he was a bulldozer operator.

He was a member of the VFW and Nova Ruggles Coon Hunter Club.

Virgil is survived by children, Della (Michael) Wooten of Knoxville, TN, Gloria Price of Ashalnd, Rebecca (Timothy) Sobczynski of Lincoln Park, Michigan and James (Sandra) Price of Loudon, TN, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many brothers and sisters.

His parents and wife Sylvia died previously.

Funeral Service will be Monday June 29, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating.Visitation will be Sunday afternoon 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial in West Salem Cemetery.   Memorials contributions may be give to Pathways Hospice Care, 1171 E Main Street, Ashland, Ohio  44805. Those who wish to share a memory or make an online condolence may do so by visiting mattesonfh.com
