Twyla L. Gibson, 77, of Saint Cloud, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 at home. Twyla was born in Ashland, Ohio on September 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Earl James and Velda (Iceman) Forbes. Twyla graduated from Northwestern High School. She married Leland Pelton, Sept. 21, 1953 who passed away June 2, 1973. She married Lee Gibson, Oct. 2, 1976 who passed away May 9, 1997. She is survived by daughter, Cathy (Pelton) Holderbaum of West Salem, Ohio; and son, Charles Pelton and wife Joyce of St. Cloud, FL; brothers: Glen Forbes and wife Mary of West Salem, OH; Paul Forbes and wife Pat of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Eileen Balliett of West Salem; Jo Ann Aylsworth of Wooster, OH; sister-in-law, Mona Forbes of West Salem; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Twyla is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Forbes. Funeral service will be Tuesday June 12, 2012 at 11:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Mark Plotts officiating.
