Timothy J Checkelsky

Timothy J Checkelsky 54, of Ashland died May 21, 2019 at his home in Ashland. Timothy was born March 14, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of James and Arlyn (Huston) Checkelsky. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1983 Timothy was a chef at many places including; Lornhorn Steakhouse in Wooster, Hawkins and Jonny’s Angels in Sandusky. He enjoyed bowling where he had many 300 games. He was also a very good karaoke singer.

Timothy is survived by brothers, James (Gretchen) Checkelsky of Valley City and David (Jamie) Checkelsky of Jeromesville; nephews, Drew, Brett, Ben, Justin and Collin and a niece CJ;  and a step-sister, Sandra Schmidt of High Point, NC.
