Terry Lee Varney

Terry Lee Varney, 75 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Keystone Pointe Rehabilitation Center. Terry was born on August 13, 1946 to parents Ralph and Gertie (Townsend) Varney in Hetzel, WV. He married his wife, Shirley A Varney in 1965. He worked at General Motors as a machinist. Terry enjoyed hunting and camping. He also loved watching the Browns and Indians sports teams play.

Terry leaves behind his wife: Shirley A. Varney; children: Terri Ann (Charles) Oscar and Sean Lee (Cheryl Cook) Varney; grandchildren: Tara (Alex), Benjamin (Whitney), Sean Christopher (Becca); great grandchildren: Sean Christopher Jr. and Jaidyn and Brother: Mike (Adrian) Varney. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Connie and Rose Ann and brother Marlowe.

A private family service will be on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at the Matteson Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Interment will be at West Salem Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Any memorials can be sent to the First Baptist Church at P.O. Box 31, West Salem, Ohio 44287.
