Stanley T. Zumack, affectionately known as "Stash," passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 23, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, Stash was the cherished son of Joseph and Helen (Turon) Zumack and Budimir Ruzicic.

A dedicated and steadfast individual, Stanley devoted 30 years of his career to Ford Motor Company at Brookpark, where his commitment and work ethic were deeply respected. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was an Army veteran, a testament to his service and dedication to his country.

Stash's life was enriched by his profound love for his family and his passions. He particularly enjoyed fishing and hunting, pursuits that brought him joy and fostered many enduring memories. An active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in West Salem, Ohio, his faith was a cornerstone of his life.

He was married for 65 years to his beloved wife, Carole A. (Novak) Zumack, with whom he shared a life filled with love and companionship. Together, they built a wonderful family and a legacy that will be treasured forever.

Stanley is survived by his wife Carole; their children Brian (Serey) Zumack, Bradley (Laura) Zumack, and Meg (Tom) Sir Louis; his grandchildren Mike, Jessica, Tiffany, Cassondra, Allyson, Stephen, Olivia, Emily, Jacob, Danny, and Alexa; and his great-grandchildren Jamison, Noah, Ben, Madison, Hayleigh, Mary, Wolfgang, Sophie, Maeve, Maddox, Mylah, Lukas, and Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Zumack; his parents Joseph and Helen Zumack and Budimir Ruzicic; and siblings Mary Hardin and Joseph Zumack.

Services to honor Stanley’s life will be held on April 28, 2026, beginning with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church located at 44 Britton Street, West Salem, OH. Following the visitation, a Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The final resting place for Stanley will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH, where burial services will commence at 1:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be given to St. Stephen Catholic Church, 44 Brittain Street, West Salem, Ohio 44287 or  Allyson McCroskey to help with medical expenses for her daughter; Mylah, 43660 New London Eastern Road, Spencer, Ohio 44275.

Stanley T. Zumack’s enduring spirit, devotion to family, and faithful heart leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him. His memory will forever be honored and cherished by those who loved him most.
