Royd E Stewart Sr., 77, of Fairborn formerly of West Salem, Ohio died Thursday September 11, 2014 at Dayspring of Miami Valley in Fairborn, Ohio.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 17, 2014 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening 6-8. Burial in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. He was born in Bellville, Ohio the son of Charles & Dollerous (Boterf) Stewart.
He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was an owner/operator truck driver for over 40 years.
He was a member of West Salem Tractors Pullers Association and Ashland Yester Year Tractor Association.
He is survived by five children, Darla and Dana Stewart, Virginia Mack, Lisa Stewart and Royd E (Cynthia) Stewart Jr. , 6 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Leola Beck, Helen Jones and Vi Morningstar.
His parents died previously.
