Roy A Beebe

Roy A Beebe, 62 of West Salem died suddenly Sunday June 30, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.

He was born April 15, 1957 in Cleveland to Vernon and Carol (Kaul) Beebe.

Roy graduated from Northwestern High School in 1975.He was engaged in farming all his life. He was a member of St Stephen Catholic Church and Izaak Walton League. Roy was an assistance Boy Scout Leader and Charter representative for Troop 452 in West Salem for many years. Roy was very active with the boy scout troop where he enjoyed teaching them life skills. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and camping.

Roy is survived by his sisters, Donna Jasany of Westlake and Jean Pastor of Cleveland; his girlfriend, Nancy Dangerfield; niece, Kelli (Nick) Florio; two great nephews, Luca and Giano; many cousins and friends.

His parents and a brother-in-law, Dennis died previously.

Funeral Mass will be Friday July 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St Stephen Catholic Church, 44 Britton Street, West Salem, Ohio with Father Thomas Stock officiating. Friends will be received  Wed. July 3, 2019  from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress Street, W. Salem.  Memorials may be given to Boy Scout Troop 452 c/o Tammy McClure, 1448 County Road 251, Jeromesville, Ohio  44840.
