It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother Ronnie Eugene Adams. Ronnie was called to Heaven on October 14th, 2014 and was born on January 6th, 1944 in Lodi and raised in Congress, Ohio. He moved to Orange County, California in 1976 and was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Adams (25April1911-23December1988) and Juanita “Bonnie” Saphronie Smith Adams (28September1917-27October1979), and daughter Jamie Lynn Adams (11November1975). He leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Eileen Faye (married July 2nd, 1966); sons Anthony Scott (Carey-Ellen) and James Byron; four grandchildren, Austin Kenneth, Alexa Solveig, Axel Graeson, Asher Mason; two sisters Hazel Louise Pelfrey (Don, deceased), Ruby Lois Adams (Don); and two brothers Kirby Edgar Adams (Janice) and David Eugene Adams (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews. Ronnie was a respected field services manager with Control Components, Inc. for 38 years before retiring and focusing on his three loves; fishing, collecting, and his family. He was actively involved in the local auction scene and always in the garage working on his finds. He also had a love for old cars and owned numerous high performance and vintage mustangs over the years and was a member of the Saddleback Mustang Association. Ronnie was a world traveler, a true “jack of all trades” and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on forever through all of his friends and family. Services in California will be held at O’Connor Mortuary (25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653) on October 25th, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and in Ohio at Matteson Funeral Home (40 Congress Street, West Salem, OH 44287) on November 1st, 2014 with a visitation from Noon to 2pm, service from 2pm to 3pm and then the procession to Congress Cemetery (110011 Stratton Road, Congress, OH 44287) where Ronnie will be laid to rest.
