Robert Vincent Webb Jr. was born on September 29, 1974, in Medina, Ohio to parents; Robert and Janet (Crabtree) Webb.. On August 5, 2026, at the Ohio State Richard M Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, he passed away, leaving behind a legacy punctuated by devotion, hard work, and unwavering love for his family.
Known affectionately as Bobby, he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man whose life was defined by humility and steadfast responsibility. Friends and family recall his reputation as a hardworking, dependable, and responsible individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Bobby’s gentle dedication to others was apparent in every facet of his life, making lasting impressions on those around him.
Bobby’s educational journey began at Northwestern High School, where he graduated in 1992. With a steadfast work ethic, he pursued a rewarding career as a robotic weld engineer, spending twelve years at Northern Stamping in Cleveland. In his professional life, as in his personal life, Bobby was revered for his diligence and reliability.
Outside of work, Bobby found joy in simple and meaningful pleasures. He cherished riding his motorcycle and driving his truck, savoring many miles across Ohio's scenic roads. Camping trips provided peaceful escapes, while early mornings spent on the balcony, quietly watching the sunrise, brought moments of solitude and reflection. Bobby was also known to delight in enjoying Chinese food, often sharing these meals with laughter and conversation.
Among all of Bobby's achievements and passions, nothing brought him greater pride than his children. He loved them unconditionally, their happiness and well-being always at the center of his heart. Bobby’s legacy lives on in his family, who will forever treasure the memories and lessons he shared with them.
He is survived by his loving mother, Janet Webb; his daughters Alexis Webb & Alex, Haley Webb & Dom, Paige (Nathan) Webb, Austin Webb and Ayla Yoder; his son Robert Webb III; his significant other; Katina Yoder who formed part of his close circle.
Bobby is welcomed into rest by those who went before him: his father, Robert Webb Sr.; his sister, Tonya Webb; and his brother, Eric Webb. Their memories live on alongside his, treasured by all who knew and loved them.
Visitation for Robert Vincent Webb Jr. will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress St, West Salem, OH 44287. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the same location. Afterward, burial will be held at Congress Cemetery (West Salem), 11001 Stratton Road, West Salem, OH 44287, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorials maybe given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 314, West Salem, Ohio 44287 to assist the family with final expenses. The Matteson Funeral Home staff is honored to serve Bobby's family and the community.
