Robert D Rainsberger

Robert “Bob" Rainsberger, age 71, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 15, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital from a brief illness.

Bob was born on August 23, 1950 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison, Ohio to George James Rainsberger and Ruth Eileen Aeschliman.

He graduated with the 1968 class at Claymont High School. He joined the Army in 1970, married the love of his life , LuAnn Blick in 1981, and just celebrated their 40 th wedding anniversary.

He retired from Arizona Chemical, in Dover Ohio, formerly known as Union Camp, in 2014.

Bob faithfully attended church and loved the Lord and his family with all his heart.  He enjoyed helping others and working on mission trips with “After the Storm" and “Samaritans Purse".

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, LuAnn Rainsberger. His children Paskal “Toey" (Dana) Rainsberger, Ryan Rainsberger, and Erica (Nicholas) Hooten. His grandchildren Dakota and Kaci Rainsberger, Rheanna Glass, Maddy Yasch, and Abrielle and Greysen Hooten. His 2 great-grandchildren and his siblings, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

There will be a service for immediate family members on Sunday, October 17, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for friends and family.   The family would find great comfort if you shared a memory of Bob on the funeral home’s website.
