Robert J Coon, 46 of Ashland died Thursday April 17, 2014 at Hospice of North Central Ohio.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday April, 23, 2014 @ 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in West Salem with Father Tom Stock officiating.
Friends will be received at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem Tuesday evening 6-8. Burial in West Salem Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website @www.mattesonfh.com
He was born in Cleveland the son of Lowell James and Ellen Rose (Novak) Coon.
He graduated in 1986 from Mapleton High School.
Bob enjoyed sports and was an avid Indian Fan.
He is survived by his wife Christine (Barnes) Coon who he married March 18, 1995, brothers, Lowell Coon Jr of Cambridge, Dean Jones of Westlake, sisters, Deborah Callihan of Savannah, Donna (Daniel) Mounce of Savannah, Diane Sturgill of Crestline and Cheryl Coon and Skip Fulton of Lexington, and many nieces and nephews.
His parents and a sister Caryl Coon died previously.
