Robert J Carter, 78 of Ashland died Sunday November 20, 2016 at his home.
Funeral Services will be Friday November 25, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with John Carter officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial in Hazzard Cemetery. He was born October 28, 1938 in Chatham the son of Ted and Gertrude (Gray) Carter.
He had been employed for Savick Trucking as a diesel Mechanic for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife Terry (Schultz) Carter, children, Rick Carter, Peggy Kidd, Tamy Farrao, James Carter, Donny Carter, Daniel Carter and Robert Carter Jr., 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, George Gray, John Carter and Dave Gray, sisters, Dora Hinkle and Viola Farnsworth.
Is parents, a son, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson and granddaughter died previously.
