Robert E Banfield (Bubby) 44 of Polk died Friday Jan 27, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital from injuries sustained in an industrial accident.
Funeral services will be Wed. Feb. 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Paul Tracy Sr. officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00. Burial in Rowsburg Cemetery, Polk, Ohio. Memorials contributions can be made to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O. He was born Oct. 17, 1967 in Ashland the son of Eugene and Joyce (Esterline) Banfield.
He had been employed at Advance Cylinder as a mechanic for eleven years.
Robert enjoyed bowling, fishing and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan.
He is survived by his wife Danielle (Way) Banfield whom he married July 30, 1993

Dylan and Logan Banfield of the home
A grandson Blaine
His parents Eugene and Joyce Banfield of Ashland
His sister Tina Harp of Lattasburg
And two nieces Starlina and Skyla
