Rita M Crebs 77 of West Salem died Sunday May 8, 2011 at Hospice of North central Ohio in Ashland.
Funeral service will be Thursday May 12, 2011 at 1:00 at the United Methodist church in West Salem with Pastors Patricia Lintela and Martha Mathatas officiating.
Friends will be received at the church Wed. evening 6:00 to 9:00. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is handling the arrangements.
Burial will be in West Salem Cemetery.

She was born July 25, 1933 in Elyria the daughter of James and Mary (Smith) Shadley Sr.
She graduated in 1951 from Homerville High School.
She was homemaker all her life.
Rita was a member of the United Methodist where she was active in the women society and chime choir. She sang in the Ashland University Choir. She sang with the Granny Band and serenaders; she was a member of the Polk Garden Club. She was on a bowling league in Ashland. She was an avid fast pitch and slow pitch softball coach and player. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by five children Lynn (Pete) Ensinger of Lorain, Cherie (Gerry) Smith of Jeromesville, Jackie Crebs of West Salem, James Crebs of West Salem and John Crebs of Barberton. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren A brother Jon (Cindy) Shadley of West Salem.
