Richard E Rogers

Richard E Rogers, 82 of West Salem went peacefully home to his Lord on January 14, 2014.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Eleanor (Anich) Rogers who he shared 60 wonderful years. They were married July 25, 1953.
Richard was born June 27, 1931 to Clarence and Ruth Rogers.
He graduated Polk High School in 1949.
He was a wonderful father to children, Robbin Rogers of Wooster, Terry (Tim) DeRodes of West Salem, Rod (Julie) Rogers of Polk and Jim Rogers of Fort Wright, Kentucky.
He was a cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Richard was a Korean War Navy Veteran. He farmed most of his life , retired from Bender Loudon Motor Freight in Mansfield and also drove for D & S Distribution of Wooster.
He attended St. Johns Church in Albion.
Richard will be greatly missed. He was loved by all who knew him.
He donated his body to OSU for medical research.
