Richard J (Bear) Bowersock Liston, 63, of West Salem died Tuesday May 6, 2014 at his home.
He was born June 28, 1950 in Lodi the son of Eugene & Helen (Neiswinter) Liston.
He was adopted by Clarence and Helen Bowersock.

He graduated in 1969 from Northwestern High School.
He was a member at Congress Community Church.
He was an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter and enjoyed watching Northwestern Sporting events.
He was survived by five sisters, Peggy (Ben) Kelly of Florida, Sharon Frary of Lodi and his twin sister Vikki (Gary) Richard of Apple Creek , Lori (Jim) Bowersock Jr of Wooster, Karen (Jeff) Evans of Mansfield and three brothers, Jim (Beaner) Rufener of Florida and Dennis Rufener of West Salem and Jim (Diane) Bowersock of Wooster and his adopted mother Helen Bowersock. Of Wooster.
His parents, infant sister, Sandra and a half brother, Larry Liston died previously and his adopted father.
