Ralph Crebs 70 of West Salem died Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Hts..
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 12, 2011 at 11:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Robert Pflueger officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday 2;00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00.
Burial in West Salem Cemetery.

He was born in West Salem on Oct 22, 1940 to Claude E and Viola Alice McBride Crebs. He retired in 1993 from the Village of West Salem after 30 years with the water & Sewer Dept.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland & also a member of the Trinity Woodworkers. He was an active member of the West Salem Historical Society, the National Association of Watch and Clock collectors. He collected clocks and restored them having over 150 in his collection. He was an avid wine maker. Ralph loved hunting, fishing gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ann Spellman whom he married on Oct 12, 1958 in Zion Lutheran Church in Homerville by Rev. George Swartzfager. A daughter Jennifer Lynn Luscher and granddaughter Emily Ann of Kirtland, Ohio, a son Larry John and grandson Michael Paul Crebs. Brothers Robert Crebs of Creston and Carl (Dood) Crebs of West Salem.
His parents, four brothers Charles, Donald, Raymond and Kenneth Crebs and two sisters Pauline Bell and Norma Jean Crebs died previously.
