Phyllis L. Fone

Phyllis L Fone, 76 of West Salem died on Friday July 29th, 2022 due to an injury accident in Nashville, TN. Services for Phyllis will be Tuesday August 9th, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Beryl Baum officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. She will be buried at West Salem Cemetery.

Phyllis was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 17th, 1946 to parents Paul & Maude (Carpenter) Fone. She was married to her husband David Fone who preceded her in death on August 30th, 2012. She retired from St. Patrick Catholic School in Louisville, Kentucky where she worked in the cafeteria. Her favorite ways to spend her time were spending time with her grandchildren, the family Sunday dinners and going to the casino.

She leaves behind her two children: Linda (Gerard) Thibo and David (Connie) Fone; six grandchildren: Jessica (Jason), Jennifer (Kerry), Special Kathryn (James), Justin, Sydney and Celine; seven great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
