Pauline F (Lafontaine) Sheridan

Pauline F Sheridan was raised into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday January 17th. After being in the hospital for 18 days, Pauline knew her life was near the end. She said to her daughter during the week “It’s been a long tough struggle, but boy was it fun’.  She died with her family around her, holding the hand of her husband Gene. They were to celebrate 35 years of marriage on February 17th. Their combined families totaled 13 children, 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  Some of her sweetest memories are when all the families came out to their farm in West Salem for parties. Pauline loved to sew and she also enjoyed golfing with her friends in Florida. The entire family is thankful to her daughter Colleen who became her best friend and caregiver these past few years. Viewing and the service will be at Matteson Funeral Home at 40 West Congress in West Salem Ohio. Visiting hours will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday January 21.  Funeral services will be on Thursday at 11:00am with Rev Christopher T Cahill officiating.  Burial in West Salem Cemetery.
