Opal M Knox

Opal M Knox, 89 of Medina formerly of Lodi died Sat December 12, 2020 at Samaritan Care Center in Medina.

Opal was born September 22, 1931 in West Salem the daughter of Harvey and Esther (Helman) Jacobs.

She retired from Walmart.

Opal was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Garfield Chapter 324. Her hobbies included sewing, reading Danielle Steele Novels and birds.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy (Michael) Ferguson and Diane (Noah) Simmons; granddaughters: Stephanie and Jennifer Ferguson and Teal Simmons; great granddaughters: Kerri Ann Ferguson and Angleic Abbott.

Her parents, husband, Allen Knox, brother, Chester Jacobs and a sister, Edna Kessler died previously.

Private family services will be held at the Matteson Funeral Home. Burial in West Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
