Nicholas A. Petrishin Jr.

Nicholas A. Petrishin Jr. 66 of Wooster died Friday August 19, 2022 at Akron City Hospital in Akron.

He was born July 25, 1956 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania the son of Nicholas and Gloria (Englehart) Petrishin Sr.

Nick graduated from Northwest High School in Pa. He retired from Advance Bronze in Lodi where he was a machinist. Nick was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard’s 812th Engineer Company in Wooster for fourteen years.

He married Mary M (Hickman) Petrishin on February 14, 2001. She survives. Nick played bass guitar in the band, Panhead

He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Indians and the Cavaliers and NASCAR racing, going fishing and camping and his dogs.

Nick is survived by his wife; Mary, children; Crystal (Jimmy) Dunn, Elizabeth Bryant, Joseph Branham, Michael (Melissa) Petrishin and Kassandra (Derek) Wise, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his father; Nicholas A. Petrishin Sr., a brother; Danny (Tara) Petrishin and sisters; Anne (Eric) Aronwitz and Donna (Jeff) Hlesciak.

His mother; Gloria and a son; Jerry Wayne Branham died previously.

Funeral Service will be Thursday August 25, 2022 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the Funeral home.
