Moya A. (Jones) Plank

Moya A. Plank, 48 died on January 8, 2025 at her home in Shiloh surrounded by her family after her battle with cancer. She was born December 28, 1976 in Oberlin, Ohio to David and Ruth (O’Dell) Jones. She married the love of her life Dave Plank on October 16, 1999, they just celebrated 25 years together.

The biggest joy in Moya’s life was taking care of her children and her grandchildren. She always loved decorating and hosting parties for her family. Moya was a Pro at Monopoly, winning the majority of the time. She also loved playing euchre with Dave against their children. Amazing their children when they consistently won against them due to the bond the two shared. Her family was her number one priority and she loved Jesus with her whole heart. Moya was the type of person who never met a stranger, she cared so much about people, would have given anyone the shirt off her back and loved telling people about Jesus.

Moya leaves behind her husband, Dave Plank; their five children: Shilo (Brock) Baker, Ariel (Kyler) Medley, Kaela (Mason) Martin, Ilias Plank and Zarah Plank; grandchildren: Ryver and Theodore (Theo); parents: David and Ruth Jones; siblings: David Jones, Vincent (Shelique) Jones, Anthony Jones, many nieces and nephews.

Moya's Celebration of Life  Service will be on Saturday January 25, 2025  at 2:00 p.m. at the Foursquare Gospel Church, 383 Davidson Street, Mansfield, Ohio. If you have a photo or a memory to share of Moya with her family to bring them comfort you may do so at mattesonfh.com
