In Loving Memory of Michelle Dawn Maynard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Dawn Maynard, who passed away on the morning of August 28, 2026.

Michelle was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a talented hairstylist who loved making others feel beautiful and confident, but it was the connections she made with people that meant so much to her.

Michelle was truly a people person. She was incredibly social, outgoing, and never met a stranger. She loved being surrounded by others and could find joy in a simple conversation, a shared laugh, or spending time with the people she cared about. Whether she had known someone for years or had just met them, Michelle had a way of making people feel welcome and comfortable.

She genuinely enjoyed getting to know people and forming meaningful connections throughout her life. Her friendships were important to her, and she treasured the time she spent talking, laughing, and making memories with family and friends. Michelle loved being in the middle of everything, surrounded by the people she loved. Her presence brought energy and warmth wherever she went, and she had a way of bringing people together.

Above all, Michelle was a loving mother to her two daughters, Autumn Laine Maynard and Mia Della Maynard, whom she loved dearly. Her love and memory will continue to live on through them and through the many lives she touched.

Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Della Maynard, Virginia and Johnny Toler, and James Booth; her aunts, Leah Conley, Kathy Slone, and Barbara Mutters; her uncles, Orda Slone, Edward Boothe, and Larry Booth; and her cousins, Joshua Slone and Brendan French.

Left to cherish Michelle’s memory are her beloved daughters, Autumn Laine Maynard and Mia Della Maynard; her nephew, Nikolas Maynard; her mother, Helen (Tano) Rivera; her father, Clyde Maynard; her brother, Clyde (Amy) Maynard; along with many special cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Michelle’s passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Michelle was deeply loved, will be deeply missed, and will never be forgotten.

Please join us Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. for a viewing and Thursday, September 3, 2026 at noon for a funeral and burial service. Burial in West Salem Cemetery.
