Mattie J Halstead, 76 of Sullivan died Monday August 1, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be Friday August 5, 2016 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. She was born June 22, 1940 in Madison, West Virginia the daughter of James & Lucie (Shepard) Lovejoy.
She retired from United Airline after 27 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Salem and enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by children, Pamela(Jerry) Whitehead of Doylestown, Debbie Halstead of Sullivan, Michael Halstead of Ashland and Tina(Walt)Myers of Lodi, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Richard Lovejoy of Cleveland.
Her first husband, Glenn Watts and son, Ricky Watts, husband, Bobby Halstead , parents, brothers, James and Danny Lovejoy and sisters, Iris June Mootsy and Mary Sanchez died previously.
