Matthew A Barnes

Matthew A Barnes, 53, of Jefferson, Ohio formerly of West Salem, died Monday, December 21, 2020 due to an automobile accident. Matthew was born to Alan and Thelma (Hayes) Barns in Wooster, Ohio on December 10, 1967. He graduated from Northwestern High School. He had been employed at MFC Drilling where he worked in the Oil fields for 30 years. Matthew enjoyed four-wheeling. Matthew leaves behind his mother: Thelma Barnes of Wooster; daughter: Amber Barns of West Salem; Christy Barnes of Orrville; sister: Laura Kline of West Salem; nephews: Brock, Landry and Trent. He was preceded in death by his father.

Burial will be at West Salem Cemetery on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at 2:00pm.
