Mary L (Long) Moore

Mary L. Moore, 76 of Zanesville, Ohio formerly of Wooster, Ohio died Wednesday December 18, 2024 at Genesis Healthcare System in Zanesville, Ohio.

She was born September 14, 1948 in Morristown, Tennessee the daughter of John and Birdie (White) Long.

Mary graduated from Northwestern High School in 1967. She had worked as a dispatcher for the Wooster Police Department, then Mary had been employed as a switchboard operator at the Wooster Community Hospital. She retired from the Wayne Public Library where is worked as a librarian.

Mary was an avid reader; she enjoyed listening to music and crocheting.

Mary is survived by her daughter; Nicole and Josiah Barnhart of Zanesville, Ohio, a brother; BJ and Bonnie Long of West Salem.

She is preceded in death by a son; Shawn Moore, her parents and a brother, Ernest Long.
