Together Again

Marlene G. Richards, 84 of West Salem died Friday Sept 23, 2022 at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.

She was born June 13, 1938 in Canton, Ohio to parents Edward R. May and Helen (Orbits) Stump.

Marlene graduated from Alliance High School.

She had worked for George Roberts Insurance Agency in Akron where Marlene was an insurance agent.

Marlene was married to Lloyd Palmer Richards for 23 years.  He preceded her in death on June 4, 2006.

She attended the First Baptist Church in West Salem and enjoyed listening to the Gaither Vocal Band. Marlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, flower and vegetable gardening, talking with her Amish friends and traveling with her husband to about all the states.

Marlene is survived by her children; Valerie (Don) Keener of West Salem and Danny (Amy) Imdorf of Louisville, Ohio, six grandchildren; Ashleigh (Matthew) Reed, Elaina (Justin) Rehs, John Rehs, Brian (Chelsea) Keener, Kevin Keener and Brandon Keener, four great grandchildren; Tristin, Aleigha, Alexia and Gabriel and sister; Sandy Mohr of Alliance and brothers; Jim May and Jerry Stump. She is preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd Palmer Richards, parents and a sister; Patricia Chelard

Funeral Service will be Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O.
