On April 11, 2026, Mark E. Rohrbaugh went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour, surrounded by family, following a brief illness. It was a gentle passing, marked by the presence of those he loved most. He was preceded in death by his father, Max E. Rohrbaugh, and his mother, Esther L. Rohrbaugh.
Mark is survived by his three loving sons, Levi (Hannah) Rohrbaugh of West Salem, Jared (Jenifer) Rohrbaugh of West Salem, and Joshua (Hannah) Rohrbaugh of Homerville. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Dianna Miller, as well as a daughter.
He is further survived by his three brothers, Bruce (Samantha) Rohrbaugh, Jack (Laura) Rohrbaugh, and Dale (Maribeth) Rohrbaugh, along with several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews—each carrying forward pieces of his life, his stories, and his steady presence.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in the quiet rhythms of creation—hunting, fishing, bird watching, and camping. He loved a good cup of coffee, the familiar sound of bluegrass music, and could often be found singing along, working a puzzle, or shaping something with his hands through woodworking and craftsmanship. He was a man who built, not only with tools, but with time, care, and intention.
He deeply cherished time spent with his children and their families, and those moments became the true measure of a life well lived. Mark was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church in Medina, where he was actively involved in the music ministry, lifting his voice in worship and community.
