Marjorie Ann (Johannsen) Hines

Marjorie A Hines died on June 16, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice of Wooster. Marjorie was born August 16, 1938 in Elyria, Ohio to parents George Johannsen and Lois Heath who died during childbirth. She was then raised by Lorraine Johannsen who became her Mother. Marjorie married the love of her life Fred Hines October 7, 1961 and she made West Salem her home. She kept and cherished the books from Fred’s welding business. She was always there taking care of the house and her children. She loved spending time in her flower garden, reading, painting and being with her family, especially her grandkids.

Marjorie leaves behind two children: Allen Hines (Renita Alexander) and Judy (Brian) Reed, both of West Salem; three grandchildren: Jessica (Bobby) Griffith of West Salem, Kelsey (Mat) Schaefer of Red Haw and Allison (Zach) Noble of Wooster; three great grandchildren: Camden, Piper and Charlotte and sister Connie Mcroberts of Litchfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Bruce Johannsen.

A memorial service will be held for Marjorie at the Matteson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM with an hour of calling hours prior. The service will be officiated by Chaplin Darcy Miller. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LifeCare Hospice of Wooster in her memory.
