Marion A Hrbek 74 of Madison, Georgia formerly of West Salem died Sat. March 24, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
Funeral services will be Monday April 2, 2012 at 11:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Robert Holmes officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday 12:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 8:00. Burial in West Salem Cemetery. She was born Oct. 6, 1937 in Jersey City, New Jersey the daughter of Miles and Helen (Banke) Hopson.
She was a homemaker all her life. Her hobbies were gardening and knitting.
She is survived by children Louis Sarno of Madison, Georgia, Eugenia (Billy) Williams Jr., Orrville, Ohio and Joseph Hrbek of Madison, Georgia, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a sister Florence Newman of Bayonne, New Jersey and a brother Robert Hopson of Madison, Georgia.
Her parent and husband Charles died previously.
