Lucy D (Wallace) Murphy

Lucy D Murphy 67 Wooster died Tuesday evening at her home.

Funeral Service will be Saturday April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating.  Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday evening 6:00 to 8:00.  Burial in Congress Cemetery. After the burial there will be a meal at the West Salem Church of God, 129 Flemming Road, West Salem.  Church will be open at 9:30 am. Online condolences may be left for the family at mattesonfh.com.

She was born September 24, 1950 in Morgantown, West Virginia the daughter of Martin and Mary (Brink) Wallace, and married Ronzel E Murphy on March 30, 1969. He survives.

Lucy was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed crocheting, Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Ronzel are her children, Kenny (Jenny) Murphy of West Salem, Bobby (Casie) Murphy of Sullivan , Steve (Tammy) Murphy of West Salem and Dusty Murphy of Wooster, 9 grandchildren and a sister, Jeanette Banks of Youngstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Scott and a brother, Martin Wallace.
