Louise (Burdette) Crebs

Louise Crebs 89 of Wooster formerly of West Salem where she had been a resident for over 60 years died Monday evening Dec. 10, 2012 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be Friday December 14, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Scott Risley officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday 4:00 to 7:00. Burial in West Salem Cemetery. Memorials may be given in her memory to the West Salem United Methodist Church, 80 East Buckeye Street, West Salem, Ohio 44287. Louise was born June 7, 1923 in Pomeroy, Ohio the daughter of Robert & Ethel (Bailey) Burdette.
She was a homemaker all her life. She retired in 1988 from Ashland University where she worked in the food service.
She was a member of the West Salem United Methodist Church.
She was an avid reader and walker.
She is survived by 6 children- Richard (Peggy) Crebs of Baltimore, Maryland, David (Millie) Crebs of Baltimore, Maryland, Kenneth (Carole) Crebs of Cincinnati, Joanne (Denny) Risley of Cincinnati, Thomas (Jill) Crebs of San Diego, California and Kathy (Scott) Falb of Wooster,
Eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
Her parents, husband Donald Crebs who died in 1979, three sisters and a brother died previously.
