Lorraine G (Fairchilds) Hewitt

Lorraine G Hewitt 75 of Ashland died Monday June 20, 2022 at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.

She was born July 11, 1946 in Cleveland the daughter of Douglas and Marjorie (Woodman) Fairchilds.

Lorraine served in the US Army.

She had been employed at Costal Federal Bank  and Horry County Dept of Human Services both in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Lorraine enjoyed reading, a doing cross stitch and was an avid NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her sons; Bryan Charles Bookout and Anthony (Tony) Bookout and his wife Debbie, grandchildren; Christopher Bookout, Sarah and Erin Shulte and John (Sarah) Deptula, great grandchildren; Tayeson (Taye) Gonzalez and Peyton Deptula and a sister; Diane (Ed) Trenholm of Sevierville, Tenn. Her parents, and a sister Barbara died previously.

Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
